Sustainability & regionality

Sustainability & regionality

These days, the word "sustainability" has a very special meaning. More and more people are becoming aware that we do not have a second earth in our luggage, and it requires a rethink. Even great nations have realized that the clock is ticking and, as Guterres says, "we are digging our own graves".

Originally, the term "sustainability" comes from forestry in the 17th century. At that time, it was about the idea that not more trees should be felled than can grow back.

If you think about it more closely, this is not only true for wood, but also for other resources. Sustainability therefore means in the broadest sense to have the future of the earth in mind and to ensure that not all resources are used up in the present.

The responsible use of resources has arrived everywhere.
